PASTOR MICHAEL'S TESTIMONY The natural man often heaps up excuses for his failures and calls it destiny. But life is about choices. God has a purpose for every man He created. Man does not decide or determine what his purpose in life is; he finds out. He discovers it by surrendering to his creator and walking in faith with Him. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Col. 3:3,
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Rom. 8:29,
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, Eph. 1:11,
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11,
It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. Rom. 9:16,
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Prov. 3:5-6.
Beloved, I was once a failure. I failed not because of lack of talents and abilities, but as a result of;
1. Not knowing what to do with my talents and abilities
2. Many forces, situations, circumstances that naturally pitched against me then.
But thank God for His enduring mercies upon my life. Though it was time consuming before I could finally surrender to God's will. Because, I never thought or even dreamt of becoming what I am in Christ today. Oh!, it was by His GRACE.
